US imposes sanctions on Russian officials and businessmen

The US imposed sanctions against 24 Russians who are allegedly the allies of Russian prime minister, Vladimir Putin. The basis for this action includes interfering in the 2016 elections in the US and other hostile activities. The list of Russian businessmen hold stakes in large energy and mineral firms and have assets all over the world. They’re involved in state affairs and some are linked directly to Putin.
