USA has most billionaires in the world
According to a report by Wealth-X, the US has the most number of billionaires in the world. Home to 680 billionaires, they account for 25% of the global billionaire population. China comes second, with 338 billionaires. The report shows that there are now 2754 billionaires, and they own almost $9.2 trillion in wealth, a 24% rise from 2016. The report also reveals that the richest 1% own half the world's wealth.
