Vijay Mallya not coming to India anytime soon, government sources say papers yet to be signed

After several reports yesterday claimed that fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya may be extradited to India, senior government officials denied the reports and said that India is yet to receive any official communication from the authorities in the United Kingdom. The deadline for the United Kingdom Home Office Secretary to sign extradition documents expires on June 11, 2020, as per the Extradition Act.
