Vodafone Idea looking at rate hike in short term for sustainable business

Ravinder Takkar, the Chief Executive Officer of India's third-largest telco Vodafone Idea Limited has said that the company which rebranded itself as Vi on Monday is looking at increasing the mobile tariffs to compensate for the losses it faced in the market. The average revenue per user (ARPU) for Vodafone is the lowest in the industry at Rs 114. The telecom firm needs Rs 7,000 crore annually to pay its AGR dues.
