Walmart may buy Flipkart’s share; Board approves the agreement
An agreement between the Flipkart India and Walmart has got the nod of the board of Flipkart Online Services Pvt. The company will about 75% of share to Walmart Inc for Approx $15 billion. Under this deal, SoftBank Group Corp will be selling its 20-plus percent stake in Flipkart whose value is estimated to $20 billion. The final announcement about the deal will come within ten days.
