In 2008, Anil Ambani was the 6th richest man in the world with $42 billion of wealth. In just 11 years, the tables have turned, and his wealth has crashed down to $523 million. Just four months back, his 'now shrunk' empire The Reliance Group was valued Rs 8000 crore just before the lenders invoked their shares due to payment defaults. Reliance group had a debt of Rs 1.7 lakh crore in March 2018.
