Which items will get costly after April 1?

With the new fiscal year, daily use items are about to get costlier from April 1, 2018. Though no major changes were announced by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his Budget speech but changes in excise and customs have been imposed on the selected commodities. The selected items that are about to get costlier are cars, mobile phones, gold, silver, footwear, LCDs, furniture, edible oils, wrist watches etc.
