With entry of Reliance in PoS, count of digitized kirana stores will increase

With the entry of Reliance in the merchant’s point-of-sale space, the number of digitized Kirana stores will increase from the current 15K to over 5 million stores by 2023. This was revealed in research by the Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Reliance announced in January that it was entering in PoS space and started it with merchants in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune.
