Xiaomi gives out 1000 shares to its employees after making it to Fortune Global 500

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi to give away free 1000 company shares to 20,538 workers worth a total of HK$187.5 million for making it to the Fortune Global 500 list. Also, Xiaomi was ranked 53rd in the Fortune's China 500 list for the first time in June. Out of 1000 shares; 500 shares serve to celebrate the Global 500 achievement, and the remaining 500 are gifted to the family of each co-worker and partner.
