Zomato: Aims to curb food wastage & serve underprivileged; acquires Feeding India

Zomato has acquired not-for-profit organisation Feeding India with an aim to curb food wastage & serve underprivileged. Zomato will fund the entire salaries of the team and will connect donors, volunteers to serve at least 100 million underprivileged every month. Feeding India collaborated with Zomato during Odisha cyclone and provided 75000 meals along with basic necessities to over 16500 people.
