3,500 MP doctors resigned amid pandemic, stating "We aren’t God, have basic needs, want protection"

The MP doctors went on strike last Monday but resigned when the Madhya Pradesh High Court declared the protest "illegal" on Thursday, ordering the doctors to return to their work within 24 hours. The Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal seems to be the focal point of this protest. The doctors feel violated that even if they are praised as "Covid warriors," they are still being subjected to violence and discrimination by the public.
