Australia yet to receive over 3 million promised doses of AstraZeneca's Covid vaccine

As Australia ramps up the nationwide vaccination drive to counter the spread of Covid cases, it hasn't yet received more than 3 million doses of previously promised AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine due to the curbs placed on the supply of vaccine by the European Union. This has affected the country's vaccination drive significantly. Acting Chief Medical Officer Michael Kidd said the delay was due to problems in shipments.
