Amid a rise in COVID-19 cases, Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) officials on Monday said that China is facing the 'most complicated and severest anti-epidemic situation' since the emergence of coronavirus, Global Times reported. As per a report in The Guardian, Beijing shut down public places like parks and museums on Tuesday.
