Covid-19 cases in Europe increased by 7% last week: WHO

The World Health Organisation said Covid-19 cases in Europe witnessed an increase of 7% last week. The UN health agency said Europe was the only part of the world that witnessed an increase in Covid-19 cases. WHO highlighted uneven vaccination in Europe while adding that it could reverse the recovery. 2.7 million Covid-19 cases were recorded globally last week whereas over 46000 people lost their lives during the same time period.
