Essential health services remain disrupted due to coronavirus pandemic, says WHO

According to the World Health Organisation, out of the 105 countries across the world that were surveyed, 90 percent of them reported disruption in essential health services amid the coronavirus pandemic. As per the WHO, 66 percent of the world's total countries recognised health workforce-related reasons as the main reason behind service disruptions. Supply chains of essential items remain disrupted in one-third of the countries.
