Former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee breathes his last after contracting Covid

Soli Jehangir Sorabjee, the former attorney general for India, passed away Friday due to Covid-19. Sorabjee was 91. "Always ready to lend a helping hand Soli Sir leaves behind countless admirers & many memories. My condolences to the family in this hour of grief," Union Minister Smriti Irani condoled his demise on Twitter. He was honoured with Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award, in 2002.
