India records 13,058 fresh Covid-19 cases, 164 deaths in last 24 hours

India recorded as many as 13,058 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 34,094,373. The country registered 164 Covid-related deaths in the same time period, pushing the total death toll to 4,52,454. Active cases in India have declined by 6,576 in the last 24 hours and now stand at 1,83,118. The total recoveries in India have reached 33,458,801 and the recovery rate now stands at 98.14%.
