India recorded as many as 16,862 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload in the country to 34,037,592. The death toll in the country climbed to 4,51,814 with 379 fresh Covid-related fatalities in the last 24 hours. Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram and Andhra Pradesh are the top 5 states which registered the maximum number of daily cases. The recovery rate in the country stands at 98.07%.
