India records 30,549 fresh Covid-19 cases, 422 deaths in last 24 hours

India registered as many as 30,549 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, with the maximum daily cases being reported in Kerala (13,984). As many as 422 people lost their lives due to the pandemic in the last 24 hours. Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka account for 77.4% of the fresh coronavirus cases. The recovery rate in the country now stands at 97.38% with 38,887 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
