India records 38,079 fresh Covid cases, 560 deaths in the last 24 hours

India's daily Covid tally dipped to 38,079 fresh cases on Saturday, taking the total caseload to 31,064,908. The death toll in the country has surged to 41,3091 with 560 deaths in the last 24 hours. With as many as 43,916 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total recoveries count has surged to 30,227,792. The active caseload now stands at 424,025 with a drop of 6,397 cases. The active cases now constitute 1.39% of total cases.
