India recorded as many as 62,480 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 29,762,793. The daily death toll dipped to 1,587 with the total deaths in the country reaching 383,490. Over 89,000 people defeated the pandemic in the last 24 hours. The recovery count in the country has climbed to 28,580,647. The active Covid-19 cases in the country now stand at 798,656 and account for 2.78% of total cases.
