India registers 2.08 lakh fresh Covid cases in 24 hours, death toll again breaches 4,000-mark

India recorded 2.08 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 2,71,57795. The daily death toll in the country still stands above 4,000. With 4,157 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total death toll in the country has reached 311,388. The overall daily positivity rate in the country stands at 9.42 percent. As many as 2,95,955 recoveries were registered in the country in the last 24 hours.
