India witnesses another surge in daily Covid cases with 42,015 fresh cases in last 24 hours

After a significant dip in India's daily Covid-19 cases yesterday, the country witnessed another surge with over 42,015 fresh cases being recorded in the last 24 hours. The total caseload has gone beyond 31,216,337. There was a huge spike in the daily death toll with 3,998 people losing their lives in the last 24 hours. The total death toll in the country has climbed up to 418,480. India now has 407,170 active cases.
