Italy PM warns of "new wave" amid a fresh surge in Covid cases

The cases of coronavirus have been on the rise in Europe in recent days and this has added to the challenges that the authorities are facing. "More than a year after the start of the health emergency, we are unfortunately facing a new wave of infections. The memory of what happened last spring is vivid, and we will do everything to prevent it from happening again," PM Draghi tweeted. Over 102,145 people have died in Italy.
