Kerala government will hold a mass vaccination drive starting today amid the surge in Covid-19 cases. The inoculation drive will go on till August 31, said CM Pinarayi Vijayan. Final year degree students, PG students, lower primary and upper primary teachers will be given the vaccine doses on priority. Those with comorbidity will receive vaccines at home. "The state government will buy 20 lakh doses of vaccines," the CM said.
