Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait organizes Iftar Party, violates Covid norms

At a time when Covid cases are increasing at an unprecedented rate and maintaining social distance is of utmost importance, Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait flouted the Covid norms to organise an Iftar party at the Ghazipur border. A video of the party has gone viral on the internet. When questioned about the incident, Tikait responded, "gathering of 50 people is permitted by the government."
