Launch free nationwide vaccination drive: Opposition leaders write to Centre

As India finds it difficult to tackle the fresh wave of the coronavirus pandemic, leaders of 13 opposition parties in the country released a joint statement, urging the centre to launch a free mass vaccination drive across the country. Sonia Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, and Akhilesh Yadav were among those who signed the letter. The opposition leaders recommended the utilisation of Rs. 35,000 crore budget for this.
