Lockdown extended in 11 Karnataka districts till June 21

The Karnataka government has extended lockdown restrictions by a week, until June 21, in 11 districts of the state. These 11 districts are those with high a positivity rate. However, the restrictions have been released in districts having a positivity rate below 15 percent. The districts where lockdown restrictions have been extended include Chickmagalur, Shivamogga, Davanagere, Mysuru, Chamarajanagara, Hassan and Bengaluru Rural.
