Maharashtra Health Minister says, state has over 2,000 cases of Mucormycosis

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that hospitals attached to medical colleges will be used for the treatment of Mucormycosis cases. The cases of Mucormycosis, a serious fungal infection also known as Black Fungus, are rising gradually in the state. According to the health minister, there could be more than 2,000 Mucormycosis patients in the state and "their number would increase for sure."
