Nearly 50% Singapore citizens administered first dose of Covid vaccine: Health Ministry

The Health Ministry of Singapore has said that it has administered the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine to nearly half of the country's population. According to the government data, nearly 35% of people are fully vaccinated whereas more than 47% have received the first dose. The country aims to ease the restrictions completely. PM Lee Hsien Loong said mass vaccination is the only way to fully open up the economy.
