No severe symptoms of Omicron reported so far: Union Health Ministry

As India reports two cases of new COVID-19 variant Omicron, the Centre on Thursday informed that no severe symptoms of the new variant has been reported so far. Addressing a media briefing Joint Secretary of the Union Health Ministry, Lav Agarwal said that the WHO has been studying the emerging evidence of Omicron. No severe symptoms of the Omicron Variant of COVID-19 reported so far, he said.
