Germany’s vaccine commission, known as STIKO, has said that those under 60-years who have received the first shot of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine should not get the second dose but get a different product instead. The vaccine commission has recommended that those under 60-years old should receive a dose of an mRNA vaccine 12 weeks after the first shot of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
