Ukraine had to dispose unused coronavirus shots after doctors put up a 'no-show' on vaccination day

Mykhailo Radutskyi, the head of the Ukrainian parliament's health committee said the authorities had to dispose of Covid vaccines after health workers and doctors didn't show up for the vaccination drive. "This is very bad, but there is no other option... if a person does not come, it (vaccine bottle) can be kept open for 2-3 hours, after which it must be disposed of," Radutskyi said. Health minister Maksym Stepanov took the jab.
