White House refuses to lift travel restrictions due to Delta variant concerns

United States has said that it won't be lifting any travel restrictions as of now while citing the concerns over the Delta variant of coronavirus. "Given where we are today ... with the Delta variant, we will maintain existing travel restrictions at this point," White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said. Psaki further added that Covid cases are rising due to the Delta variant and the unvaccinated people face high risk.
