WHO demands a 'halt' on vaccine boosters

WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called for a halt to COVID-19 vaccine boosters till the end of September, saying, "We cannot tolerate countries who have already utilized most of the world stock of vaccinations utilizing even more of it." The request for a pause comes as the gap between affluent and poor countries increases in terms of vaccines. It is the UN agency's most forceful declaration yet on Coronavirus and vaccinations.
