With spike of 86,508 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours India's tally crosses 57 lakh mark

India on Thursday reported a spike of 86,508 new COVID-19 cases and as many as 1,129 deaths in last 24 hours. The total tally of infections in the country stands at 57,32,519 including 9,66,382 active cases, 46,74,988 cured cases and 91,149 deaths, as per the data by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Maharashtra continues to be the worst-affected State in the country.
