9-year-old Bengaluru girl's hand burned with candle by mother for going to play in neighbour's house

In a shocking incident, a Bengaluru-based woman burned the hand of her 9-year-old daughter with a candle for going to play in neighbour's house. The 35-year-old woman has been arrested. However, the woman denied the allegations while adding that she did not burn her daughter's hand but only hit her with a log. She has been booked under the Juvenile Justice Act and section 324 of the Indian Penal Code.
