Capitol Violence: Man who breached US Senate chamber jailed for 8 months

Paul Hodgkins, the Florida-based man who breached the US Senate chamber during the Capitol Hill riots on January 6, has been sentenced to 8 months in prison. 37-year-old Hodgkins illegally entered the Capitol. He was identified in photographs brandishing a Trump campaign flag in the Senate. While the Justice Department requested an 18 months sentence, it was reduced by 10 months as Hodgkins did not engage in violence.
