Chattisgarh man sets 14-year-old girl on fire after she resists molestation

In a horrific incident, a 14-year-old girl was set ablaze by a man after she resisted his attempt to sexually assault her in Chhattisgarh’s Mungeli district. The heinous crime happened on June 30 in a village under Kotwali police station of the district. The accused has been identified as Bablu Bhaskar (30) and has been booked under section 302, 506, 354 and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act.
