French Doctor poisoned patients during surgery to save them, 9 killed

A French anaesthetist Dr Frédéric Péchier has been accused of giving patients lethal injections to trigger heart attacks in order to pose as a hero for bringing them back to life. At times he failed & 7 people died as a result. He has poisoned of 24 patients with potassium chloride or others, aged 4 to 80, between 2008 & 2016 at 2 clinics. The doctor denied all the allegations & was freed on conditional release.
