Mayor of Bihar's Katihar shot dead by bike-borne assailants

Shivraj Paswan, the mayor of Katihar in Bihar was shot dead by bike-borne assailants on Thursday evening. As per the reports, the forty-year-old was returning home after holding a meeting when he was stopped by three armed men near Santoshi Chowk. The assailants shot the mayor dead and fled from the spot. Paswan was rushed to Katihar Medical College and Hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors.
