Mumbai police arrest man for manufacturing fake COVID drug 'Favipiravir' in private lab in Meerut

Mumbai Police have arrested a man who allegedly manufactured COVID-19 drug Favipiravir at a private lab in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Identified as Sandeep Mishra, the man has been manufacturing the drug for quite some time now. As per the police, the tablets were manufactured by Mishra and they were later sold by Sudip Mukherjee, the owner of a fake firm named Max Relief Healthcare in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
