According to the Delhi Police DCP Monika Bhardwaj, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's niece did not reveal her connection with the PM when she filed a complaint at a police station after her bag was snatched by two robbers. Damyanti Ben Modi, the daughter of the prime minister’s brother Prahlad Modi was getting down of an auto-rickshaw in North Delhi’s Civil Lines when 2 robbers came and snatched her bag that contained Rs. 56,000.
