Uttar Pradesh authorities to probe "insider role" in death of 8 cops

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to probe "insider role" after 8 cops were killed in an encounter while trying to nab gangster Vikas Dubey. Kanpur IG said all cops of the Chaubepur police station are under the scope of the investigation. Chaubepur police station Station Officer Vinay Tiwari was suspended a day after the encounter. Tiwari allegedly tipped-off Dubey about the police raid, making him alert and well prepared.
