Exit polls predict Modi's win, Sensex closes at record high

Monday, BSE Sensex has climbed 1400 points, and it closed at a record high while Nifty touched 11,800 marks as the Exit poll result predicted a comfortable win of BJP government in the ongoing election. Top gainers in Sensex include SBI, Yes Bank, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Maruti, IndusInd Bank, HDFC, Vedanta, Tata Steel and Bajaj finance. The result of the seven-phase Lok Sabha poll will come out on 23rd May 2019.
