Amazon faces copyright infringement lawsuit for 'Suspiria'

The Estate of Ana Mendieta has sued Amazon Studios for the film 'Suspiria' and alleged that the film and its trailer used two of Mendieta's works “Rape scene” and “Untitled (silueta series)” in it without permission. Mendieta's sister Raquelin Mendieta and her niece Raquel Cecilia Mendieta takes care of the artist's properties and allow her works to be reproduced only for the scholarly purpose and not for commercial purpose.
