Assamese actor Kishor Das dies after battling cancer

Assamese actor Kishor Das passed away on Saturday after battling cancer for almost one year. According to several media reports, the actor was 30 and died in a Chennai hospital, where he was undergoing treatment since March. He also reportedly had Covid-19 at the time of his death. An MLA from Assam confirmed the news of the actor's demise.
