Before the ban, TikTok deleted 37 million videos in India this year

It has come to light that Tik Tok had removed almost 37 million videos through the first half of 2020 for breaking its rules; of which, more than a third were in India alone. A report says more videos were removed in India than in any other market, with the US being second as nearly 10 million videos were deleted. India was a huge market before the Indian government banned it citing a threat to sovereignty and integrity.
