Couldn't bare maintenance cost, Kapoor's sold RK Studios to Godrej Properties

Raj Kapoor's eldest son Randhir Kapoor has confirmed the news that the Raj Kapoor-founded RK Studios has been sold to Godrej Properties. The Kapoor family wanted to sell it off due to the high maintenance cost of the 2.2-acre property. The rumors of purchase by Godrej have turned out to be true but the amount of the deal is not disclosed. The property will be converted into a real estate project.
