Doctors say Ramayan & Mahabharat have led to increase in number of eye injury cases

Due to the lockdown, in March, Doordarshan decided to bring back their popular 90s shows Ramayan and Mahabharat. In no time, both the mythological dramas broke the TRP records. Reportedly, at least 12 children in Hyderabad have lost eyesight of one eye in the past few days. The doctors said that it is not happening due to Coronavirus, but the kids copying bow and arrow technique as the characters do it in Ramayan and Mahabharat.
